Bad Warm Weather!

We finally got out to make a snowman the other night. Well you know the snow has to be just for packing and we haven't got too much snow this winter for just that. So we attempted it the other night and the sun had warmed the snow just enough during the day and then crusted over as the temps fell. I had promised Caley we would build one so we packed and rolled. It just didn't get very big.
So meet "Leena" as Caley named her! We put her on the porch so Faithlyn wouldn't attack her.

Caley wanted to name her that because she said "she is a snow girl". Too funny! She would shake her hands and also give her a hug. Till.............

Sorry I don't know how this picture got on here sideways but you get the picture. I heard the dog barking on the porch and went out to find this. Faithlyn has a bad habit of trying to take the boys hats off and run with them when she does get a hold of them. Well she must have tried to take Leena's hat and Leena surprised her. Her head fell off! Faithlyn was so scared she didn't know what to do but stand there and bark at her.

Poor Caley was devastated! You can only imagine how upset she was today too. It was about 40 and Leena melted away and all her buttons came falling out. We gathered up all of her things and carried them inside to let her melt away till next time.
