New Family Member

Well last week we lost a member of our family. Our dog Brutus has always been a crazy dog that likes to chase vehicles. Well you can imagine what happened. The kids were crushed but we all knew this day would come. So they started asking when we could get a puppy. Mom was and is not ready to have a puppy to go through the winter but oh well. We found puppies in PA that were Aussie mixed with Great Pyrenees. Another words, farm guard dog, one that is small and one that is huge! She could likely be around 100 lbs if she takes after her mother. So we drove 6 hours and up this crazy road that was all washed out, didn't know I was supposed to be bringing a 4 wheel drive car to pick her up. Pete right away said "are you sure this is the place" and then told Caley to not get out of the car! It was a pretty creepy place.
We went in to get our pup and see the rest of the pups that were left. I also wanted to see the mother, she is pretty thin cause she got bred before she should have and was just turning a year old. Pete took the pup to say good bye to the mom and the dog literally gave Pete a hug. She looked so sad as we left.

So meet Faithlynn or Faiflynn as Caley calls her. She loves the kids and is already starting to really play with them, meaning chewing on feet, hands and hair. She likes to chew on anything in sight!

Caley went outside to play with Faithlynn and soon they both decided they didn't want to be out there.

I think the child was more upset than the dog.
